After nearly two decades operating in the East Africa trade – EUKOR have stopped their RoRo service to Mombasa and Dar Es Salaam from the U.K. with the last vessel being the Asian Trust which sailed from Southampton on the 13th of February 2024
Reasons for this have been provided as lack of tonnage and the red sea situation not helping the matter.
Going Forward
While we anticipate another carrier perhaps coming into the market we are also happy to further advise we can offer shared containers as well as flat racks where required to keep cargo flowing.
We have ensured that the rates are competitive as well as service levels being on time to ensure cargo keeps flow.
