The Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) have released a Public Notice “Notice To All Used Motor Vehicle Exporters, Importers And Dealers” dated 31 May 2018 whereby no pre-shipment inspections will now be done prior to shipment and all inspections going forward will be done in Uganda via destination inspection by UNBS prior to release from customs controlled areas.

It’s also a great initiative as it improved efficiency and saves trees.
